Our Process

At RH Web Solutions, we've developed a tried and true web development process that allows us to give our customers exactly what they are looking in a state-of-the-art website.

Discuss Requirements

The first step in our web design process is to meet with our client to discuss their requirements. We want to make sure we understand their needs so we can deliver a product that will help grow their business and exceed their expectations.

Provide a Detailed Proposal

Once we fully understand our customer's needs, we will provide a detailed proposal that outlines that services to be provided as well as a break down of the fees.

Design Phase

Once our client makes a commitment to go forward with the project, we will initiate the design phase. During the design phase we produce design mockups based on our customer's requirements. The design mockup is an image that looks exactly like a website, but does not have any working functionality. It normally takes 2 or 3 revisions of the mockup before we finalize the design. This normally takes 2 weeks.

Development Phase

Once the design is finalized, we will begin the development phase. During the development phase we turn the design mockup into a fully functional website.

It is also during this phase that we will will work with our client to finalize their content for their website as well as perform search engine optimization (SEO) so their website is easy to find when customers use search engines to search for their products or services.

Testing Phase

This phase will usually be started while the development phase is still going on. During this phase we will host our client's website on our test servers so they have access to test it and make recommendations. Our QA team will also test the website to verify the appearance and functionality. We verify the website looks and functions consistently on the various browser platforms. We also run validation tools on the HTML code to verify it meets all of the latest w3 coding standards.

Go Live

Once the testing phase is complete will upload their website to the live server. When the website is live will do another round of testing to verify the appearance and functionality. We will also submit a site map and verify the site is being crawled properly by the search engines.

30 day Support Period

After the website is live we provide our client with 30 days of support. During this phase we will monitor the traffic to our client's website and verify the search engines are properly crawling the site. We will also answer any questions and make minor content changes free of charge.
